EXOCOAT™ 151A

EXOCOAT™ 151A by Axcentive is a photocatalytic nano-titanium oxide sol with a strong self-cleaning performance. The photocatalytic effect results in effective radical formation which breaks down organic matter like dirt and soil. Airborne particles like VOCs, NOx and bio pollution are also eradicated by EXOCOAT™ 151A. It can be used as general air purifier. Though most effective in outdoor light conditions, it is adapted for use under visible light as found interior. In all cases it should be used as topcoat to ensure its full effect. Glass and walls coated with EXOCOAT™ 151A are super hydrophilic enhancing water-sheeting, also called wash off effect. It may be used on other flat surfaces such as plastics or coated substrates yet only interior. It dries under room temperature conditions. Spray application is recommended to reach thin monolayers which prove to be more effective. It is listed with EINECS, TSCA, AICS and CEPA.
