Organotin compound. An organotin catalyst recommended for the manufacture of polyurethane systems. Hydroxyl functionality in the carboxylic chain allows it to react with polyurethane to minimize migration from the polymer. Can be used in primary polyol-isocyanate and water-isocyanate reactions as well as secondary types such as allophanate and biuret formation. Used in polyurethane coatings.
