MICA TXL by Aspanger Bergbau und Mineralwerke is silica-free, dry ground muscovite-type mica. It shows high purity, brightness, high aspect ratio, exact classification and good wetting properties. It exhibits marked lamellar structure, low oil absorption value and excellent elasticity. MICA TXL provides reduced permeability, high heat distortion temperature, reduced anisotropic shrinkage, good dielectric properties & surface properties. It offers reduced shrinkage & cracking, improved adhesion and increased abrasion-, weathering-, thermal shock-, chemical, UV- and IR-resistance. It is recommended for industrial paints, anti-corrosion & high-build coatings and refractory coatings.
