MICA N by Aspanger Bergbau und Mineralwerke is muscovite type-mica. It exhibits natural fine particle size, high purity, marked lamellar structure, very high wettability (low oil absorption) and high aspect ratio. It offers reduced permeability, high heat distortion temperature, increased flexural modulus, increased flexural strength and reduced anisotropic shrinkage. MICA N provides good dielectric properties, surface properties and good chemical resistance. It is recommended for industrial paints, anti-corrosion high-build coatings and refractory coatings.
