DURANATE™ E405-70B by Asahi Kasei is a hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) with urethane resin compatibility and low temperature elasticity. Acts as a curing agent. Shows excellent color retention and outstanding performance. Provides high weatherability, good chemical & abrasion resistance, good adhesion and drying properties. Suitable for coatings for automotive, architectural, industrial, consumer electronic and information technology. Other applications of DURANATE™ E405-70B may include gravure, offset and screen inks.
