JRCure 1508 distributed by Anstar is a polymeric thioxanthone photoinitiator. It provides low migration, low odor, high activity, better solubility in monomers and oligomers. It can be used for LED UV curing system. It can be used alongside polymeric amines, polymeric α-amino ketones and phosphine oxide initiators such as 1819.
- An ideal replacement to ITX as it has a similar reactivity without any classification concerns.
- It is used in flexible packaging, graphic arts, coatings, digital inks, electronics, automotive interiors, etc and can be used together with the ultraviolet absorber when required.
- JRCure 1508 has a shelf life of 12 months.
