SETYRENE™ 23-3320 by allnex is a low HAPs containing copolymer alkyd. The exterior durability of this product is improved over that of the SETYRENE™ 23-3317 and SETYRENE™ 23-3319 family of products. SETYRENE™ 23-3320 possesses the desirable properties of fast set and dry speed with high gloss, improved UV durability, and good general film performance. This resin will allow formulation of 3.5/420 VOC coatings. Improved flexibility may be attained via modification with Paraplex G-31 or other similar plasticizers at the level of 5 to 7% on resin non-volatile. Recommended for VOC compliant general industrial direct-to-metal enamels & topcoats, coatings for agricultural implements and construction equipment. Also used in compliant coatings for automotive under-hood parts. The shelf life for this product is one year.
