SETAMINE® US-132 BB-68 resin

SETAMINE® US-132 BB-68 resin by allnex is a highly reactive, effective, n-butylated high imino melamine-based crosslinker supplied in n-butanol. It is suitable for backbone polymer resins containing hydroxyl, carboxyl and amide functional groups. It has a high tendency to self condense resulting in films with high film hardness that can be adjusted based on loading. This additive offers fast cure response, high gloss and substrate wetting. SETAMINE® US-132 BB-68 resin shows very good compatibility with acrylic-, alkyd-, polyester- and epoxy resins. It is used in solvent-borne systems, automotive OEM top coats and general industrial systems for stoving at low temperature (80 - 100°C) and/or short time. It can be used in combination with air drying alkyd resins for applications in forced drying enamels (80°C) like car repair finishes. The shelf life of this product is 720 days.
