RESYDROL® AY 241W/40WA by allnex is an oxidatively drying alkyd-acrylic copolymer emulsion. Exhibits extremely rapid initial drying and very good water resistance. It can be used as a sole binder for the formulation of primers and primer-surfacers which are characterized by very rapid drying and therefore can be used for recoating after a short time of drying. Offers excellent through-hardening and high film hardness. RESYDROL® AY 241W/40WA can also be used in formulating enamel, aqueous exterior wood stains and knifing putties. It has a shelf life of 180 days at temperatures upto 25°C.
