CYMEL® NF 3030 by allnex is a formaldehyde-free cross-linking agent supplied in water. It has a high Tg and should be paired with softer polyols (Tg <30°C) to avoid film checking or cracking. It exhibits superior catalyzed pot life relative to isocyanate-based conversion varnishes.
- The resulting coatings have excellent appearance, early hardness, resistance properties, and hot/cold cycle flexibility.
- It shows excellent compatibility with acrylic-, alkyd- and polyester resins.
- It offers fast cure response in ambient & heat cure applications and extended catalyzed coating stability or pot life in 2K systems.
- It is designed for 2 component, ambient or forced cure, water-borne conversion varnishes for industrial wood coatings when formulated with an amine-free acrylic emulsion.
- The shelf life of CYMEL® NF 3030 is 180 days.
