ADDITOL® XW 6569 by allnex is a modified silicone-based defoamer. It is emulsifier-free with no influence on rheology modifiers and resin stability. This highly effective grade is easy to incorporate into all waterborne paint systems. ADDITOL® XW 6569 is suitable for gloss & silky gloss emulsion paints, waterborne industrial coatings, 2 component epoxy resin paints, clear coats, wood stains and VOC-free pigment concentrates. Quantity to be added is 0.05-0.5% on paint. Its shelf life is at least 270 days at storage temperature up to 5-25°C. It is delivered as 20% emulsion in water.
