ADDITOL® VXW 4940 N DRY (Old Name: ADDITOL® VXW 4940 N) by allnex is a lead-free, nonylphenol ethoxylate free combination drier. It provides quick set-drying in connection with an even through-drying. It is suitable for water-dilutable, oxidatively drying alkyd resin paints.
- It contains all metals (3% cobalt, 3% barium, 5% zirconium) which are necessary for an utmost oxidative drying.
- It can also be used for acryl-alkyd hybrid systems.
- The recommended dosage level is 2-3% on solid binder.
- ADDITOL® VXW 4940 N DRY has a shelf life of 1 year at storage temperature up to 25°C.
