ADDITOL® VXL 4930 by allnex is a modified silicone for improvement of leveling and surface smoothness of solvent containing and aqueous paints. It promotes the spray dust absorption and increases the scratch resistance. It prevents the orange peeling, blistering, cratering and floating in pigment blends. This grade is efficient in low concentrations and does not stabilize foam during paint production and application. ADDITOL® VXL 4930 is suitable for industrial stoving paints, baking paints and 2-component PUR-paint system. The added quantity varies between 0.05-0.3% calculated on total formula. Its shelf life is 2 years at storage temperature up to 25°C.
