ACURE™ 550-405 by allnex is an aliphatic urethane acrylate with a high functionality and a low equivalent weight. It enhances wet adhesion (or
humidity resistance) in paints.
- It possesses a relatively high viscosity & low color and does not contain intentionally added organic tin compounds.
- It is suitable for use as an additive resin in formulations based on ACURE™ 510-100 and/or ACURE™ 510-170 malonated polyester donor resins as well as ACURE™ 550-105 or ACURE™ 550-100 acceptor resins.
- Formulated products containing ACURE™ 550-405 exhibit high cross-link density, good gloss, excellent early hardness development and good chemical- & mechanical resistance.
- It is used in industrial applications and in a wide range of professionally applied paint applications where proper personal protective equipment is used.
- It has a shelf life of 730 days.
