Afcona -3758 by Afcona Additives is a polyacrylic polymer acts as levelling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with very effective defoaming property. Afcona -3758 is mainly developed to replace fluorocarbon modified levelling agent where it gives the same levelling and anti-crater performance. Reduces drastically surface tension of organic coating systems and has good compatibility. It is used in stoving enamels based on alkyd, acrylic and polyester resins as well as polyurethane coatings. Addition and dosage: 0.1 – 1.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation.
