Afcona -2022

Afcona -2022 by Afcona Additives is silicone containing defoaming polymer. Prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based as well as solvent-free coatings. Is a particularly suitable defoamer that works during production and application, especially in curtain coating processes. Has much better deaeration property due to the present of silicone as well as better in-can transparency. Afcona -2022 can be used in two-pack systems based on polyurethane and epoxy resins, baking paints based on alkyd resins, acrylic, saturated polyesters, air drying industrial coatings based on long as well as medium-oil alkyd resins. Addition and dosage: 0.1- 1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.20 – 0.50% based on total formulation.
