Antimicrobial Nano Additive (ANA)

Antimicrobial Nano Additive (ANA) by Advanced Nano Solutions is combustion synthesized metallic ceramic powder. It is non-flammable, non-ferrous and free of heavy metals. It can produce up to six logs of surface-borne bacterial neutralization when mixed as an additive in coatings. It is effective against spore and non-spore forming bacteria as well as gram negative and gram positive strains. ANA enhanced coatings have been proven to not only inhibit growth on the coated surface, but to actively neutralize bacterial presence in solutions exposed to them. Since it has an inert metallic ceramic composition, it adds microbial protection to coatings without decreasing the ability of the coating to resist other forms of corrosion. Antimicrobial Nano Additive (ANA) is suitable for use in paints, epoxies, polymer coatings.
