Epotec® TH 7942 by Aditya Birla Chemicals – Advanced Materials is phenalkamine. It acts as a curing agent. It is designed for fast cure. It is also capable of curing at low temperature and also in high humid conditions. It can suitably be used with an unmodified, modified and solvent based epoxy resins. Due to its fast yet workable pot life & ability to protect the underlying surface it is widely used in anti-corrosive applications. Other applications of Epotec® TH 7942 includes solvent based and high solid coatings, coatings under cold and damp conditions, concrete floor coatings, anti-corrosive maintenance, coating pipe and tank linings.
