Vinyl Resins for Coatings and Inks

Celvolit® 1526 distributed by DKSH is an unplasticized copolymer emulsion of vinyl acetate and ethylene. It exhibits low residue monomer and low TVOC. It is designed for carpet industry which requires environmentally friendly property.

• The back coating based on Celvolit® 1526 possesses the feature of easy foaming and roller coating property, good penetration to carpet tuft, high tuft bonding & delamination, excellent water resistance, and soft hand under different season.
• Celvolit® 1526 shows good compatibility with a variety of plasticizers, solvents, fillers and other modifiers.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months at a storage temperature 5-35°C and is available only in Indonesia.

Ravemul® C26 by Vinavil is an APEO-free, vinyl acetate-dibutyl maleate water-based dispersion. It shows good compatibility and excellent binding power to fillers, pigments and additives. Provides excellent mechanical stability.

• It is designed to formulate water-based paints and plasters for interior applications.
• The high viscosity of Ravemul® C26 gives to the paints a high yield and excellent rheology properties.
• It is also used for putty preparation.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

HETRON® 922 PAW by allnex is a promoted, thixotropic and wax-free epoxy vinyl ester resin. It is formulated to provide excellent performance in a wide range of composite applications. Offers good chemical resistance to corrosive environments including sewage treatments and associated fumes. Exhibits excellent impact strength and high tensile elongation. Suitable for flake-glass or fibreglass reinforced linings, coatings and monolithic toppings on tanks, vats, floors and troughs. HETRON® 922 PAW has a shelf life of 3 months.

HETRON® FR992 by allnex is a low viscosity, no foaming, exothermic, unpromoted flame retardant epoxy vinyl ester resin. Exhibits excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, excellent impact strength and high tensile elongation. Offers excellent physical strength, and much better impact and thermal shock resistance than polyester resins. Provides excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, hypochlorites and many solvents. Suitable for flake-glass or fiber glass reinforced linings, coatings and monolithic toppings on tanks, vats, floors and troughs. HETRON® FR992 has a shelf life of 3 months.

Vinavil 03V by Vinavil is an APEO-free vinyl acetate vinyl versatate copolymer water dispersion. It has an excellent combination of different features that affect products performances in the building industry like binding power, rheological behavior, adhesion, color development and film sensitiveness to water.

• It is compatible with filler, pigments and additives.
• It shows weathering- and alkali resistance, and offers great versatility in the preparation of all kinds of water-based paints with medium to high PVC.
• It is recommended for the preparation of textured coatings, wall primers, interior and exterior water-based paints.
• Vinavil 03V is also used for asbestos cement temporary primer.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

Vinavil 04V by Vinavil is a water-based, vinyl acetate-VEOVA copolymer dispersion. It is free from alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO), formaldehyde, coalescing agents and plasticizer. It shows high wet scrub resistance, low odor, good rheological behavior and low film sensitiveness to water.

• It offers good alkali resistance and very good compatibility with fillers, pigments & additives.
• It is used in the preparation of paints with medium and high PVC.
• It allows the formulation of low eco-friendly products.
• Recommended for the preparation of interior paints, textured coatings with low-VOC and low-SVOC content.
• It is designed for the formulation of ecological paints in compliance with current regulations, ensuring high performance of the wall paints.
• Vinavil 04V has a shelf life of 6 months.

Vinavil 4555 by Vinavil is a vinyl versatate copolymer water-based dispersion. It is free from plasticizers, coalescing agents and alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO-free) grade. It allows formulating paints with good rheological properties.

• It exhibits excellent mechanical stability, good wet scrub-, alkali-, weathering- and dirty pick-up resistance.
• The binding power of the Vinavil 4555 is improved by the addition of coalescing agents, in order to reduce minimum film-forming temperature.
• It has good compatibility with the additives most commonly employed in architectural paints.
• It is particularly suitable to formulate satin and gloss emulsion paints and wall textured coatings for interior and exterior applications.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

ACROPOL™ 63-893 by allnex is a high molecular weight vinyl acetate acrylic copolymer emulsion. It provides good tint acceptance, stability to zinc oxide pigments and wide formulating latitude.

• It exhibits good scrub-, wear- and early water resistance.
• ACROPOL™ 63-893 may be used to formulate a wide range of interior/exterior paints.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

ETERSOL 3503 distributed by DKSH is a vinyl acetate-veova copolymer with a record of outstanding performance in latex house paint and masonry paints.

• It offers outstanding brushability, excellent heat stability, excellent color acceptance, good water-, alkali- & weather resistance and superior high film build and leveling.
• It is recommended for interior and exterior paints.
• ETERSOL 3503 is available in Canada and USA.

DOW™ Latex Powder (DLP) 212 distributed by DKSH is a free-flowing, white, re-dispersible polymer powder obtained by spray drying an aqueous vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion. It offers ease of transportation, handling and storage. It improves workability, adhesive- and flexural strength.

• It enhances abrasion resistance and provides excellent impact resistance.
• It is used in construction industry to improve the key properties of cement- and gypsum-based formulations.
• DOW™ Latex Powder (DLP) 212 is suitable for self-leveling flooring compounds, gypsum joint fillers, renders and thermal insulation systems (EIFS and cementitious base coats).
• It has a shelf life of 6 months and is available in Canada.
