Transparent Pigments for Coatings and Inks

Lumina® HD Exterior Sienna S3903V by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a high-definition, copper, semi-transparent effect pigment. It is based on fine fraction synthetic mica.

• It exhibits exceptional chroma, effective heat management, enhanced DOI, subtle sparkle and highest performance properties.
• Lumina® HD Exterior Sienna S3903V allows formulators to style with maximum interference color in the golden to red color area.
• It is used in automotive OEM and refinish coatings, general industrial exterior coatings, and exterior powder coatings.

EDAPLAN® 396 by Munzing acts as a wetting agent and dispersant for aqueous coatings. It is recommended for coatings & organic azo pigments in aqueous media, nanoscale iron oxides, titanium dioxides, and carbon blacks. It is free of VOC, APE, biocide and solvent.

• It can be used in production of coating systems based on polymer emulsions and water-soluble resins (air and oven drying, 2K systems) as well as for the production of aqueous and glycol-containing, binder- free pigment concentrates.
• It stabilizes pigment dispersions, reduces mill-base viscosity, improves gloss, color strength & hiding power and prevents reflocculation.
• It finds application in printing inks.
• EDAPLAN® 396 has a shelf life in closed containers for 15 months.
