CASAMID® 1416 by Thomas Swan acts as a gloss reducing curing agent and reactive matting agent. It is designed for use in interior coatings as well as black & dark shade epoxy- & hybrid powder coatings.

• It offers good flow and surface smoothness to the coatings.
• Epoxy coatings with gloss levels ranging from 5-15% and hybrid coatings with gloss levels ranging from 15-60% (or greater) can be easily formulated using CASAMID® 1416.
• The recommended dosage level is 8-12 phr.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

SYLOID® 7000 distributed by DKSH is a wax treated, synthetic amorphous silica with special organic treatment. It acts as a matting agent. It exhibits high porosity, high matting effect, ease of dispersion, excellent film clarity and film smoothness.

• It offers excellent optical properties in wet paint and dried coating film.
• It is suitable for use in high quality water-borne and solvent-borne coatings for furniture, artificial and natural leather, automotive plastic parts, foils, laminates, and UV-curable acrylate systems.
• SYLOID® 7000 has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Asia and Europe.

SYLOID® C 809 distributed by DKSH is a high porosity, synthetic amorphous silica-based matting agent of medium particle size. It exhibits high matting effect, favorable gloss/ sheen ratio, outstanding incorporation and dispersion behavior and excellent overgrind resistance.

• It is suitable for use in coil coatings, general industrial coatings and decorative & trade sales paints.
• SYLOID® C 809 has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Europe.

SYLOID® ED 30 distributed by DKSH is a synthetic amorphous silica. Acts as a matting agent. Exhibits high porosity and is easily dispersible. Due to its relatively fine particle size, it imparts excellent surface properties to the coating film.

• It is specially organically treated for excellent smoothness and efficiency.
• Suitable for solvent based wood coatings systems.
• It is used in furniture coatings, wood protective systems, wood stains, UV-curable acrylate systems and thin film coatings.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.
• SYLOID® ED 30 is available in Europe.

SYLOID® 622 distributed by DKSH is a synthetic amorphous silica. It is an untreated medium porosity silica matting agent of coarse particle size. It acts as non-slip/anti-skid additive in coil coatings.

• It is used in thick film coatings, powder coatings and radiation curable systems.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.
• SYLOID® 622 is available in New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

CASAMID® 1457 by Thomas Swan acts as a gloss reducing curing agent and reactive matting agent. It is developed and optimized for use in mid to pale shade hybrid powder coatings, containing >10% titanium dioxide.

• It offers good flow and surface smoothness to the coatings.
• Coatings with gloss levels ranging from 15-60% or greater can easily be formulated by using CASAMID® 1457.
• The recommended dosage level is 8-12 phr based on excess epoxy content.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

Matt Hardener HC68 distributed by DKSH is a matting- and curing-agent. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface.

• It is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid.
• It shows both gloss decreasing and curing functions and can be applied in epoxy powder system to generate the strong matte effect, excellent levelling performance and stable comprehensive properties.
• It is recommended for use in pure epoxy and epoxy/polyester hybrid powder system and coatings as a hardner.
• It has high melting point and offers excellent mechanical properties and good reproducibility characteristics.
• The shelf life of the product is 1 year.
• Matt Hardener HC68 is available in France, Indonesia, Portugal, Spain and Sri Lanka.

SYLOID® C 805 distributed by DKSH is a high porosity, synthetic amorphous silica-based matting agent of fine particle size. It exhibits high matting effect, outstanding incorporation & dispersion behavior and excellent overgrind resistance.

• It is suitable for use in coil coatings, general industrial coatings, decorative & trade sales paints and pigmented wood coatings.
• SYLOID® C 805 has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Europe.

CASAMID® 1432 by Thomas Swan is an economical, gloss reducing curing agent and reactive matting agent. It is designed for use in interior coatings as well as dark colored powder coatings based on pure epoxy or epoxy modified with hydroxyl terminated polyester.

• It offers dead matt finish and ultra-low gloss levels together with a smooth surface & high impact resistance.
• By appropriate formulation, epoxy coatings with gloss levels below 5% & impact resistance of 150-160 inch pounds can easily be obtained.
• CASAMID® 1432 is also used to reduce gloss of hybrid coatings where the polyester content of the binder is <20%.
• The recommended dosage level is 8-12 phr.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

SYLOID® ED 40 distributed by DKSH acts as a high porosity matting agent. It is an easily dispersible, synthetic amorphous silica. It imparts excellent surface properties to the coating film, due to its fine particle size.

• It is specially organically treated for excellent smoothness and efficiency.
• It is used in furniture coatings, wood coatings, decorative paints and wood protective systems, air drying and oven-dried industrial coatings and coil coatings.
• SYLOID® ED 40 has a shelf life of 12 months.
