Solvent Blends for Coatings and Inks

KEPERSURF® -116 by Kito Chemical acts as a non-silicone levelling/flatting agent and defoamer. It is a high boiling solvent available in colorless liquid form. It controls solvent evaporation speed of film. It improves solubility and gloss. It reduces prickly heat efficiency, orange skin, pinhole and crater problems. It offers good defoaming performance. KEPERSURF® -116 is suitable for UV- and solvent-free coatings. Recommended dosage level is 2-10%.

Efka® FL 3337 (Old Name: Efka® 3037) by BASF is solvent-based flow and leveling agent. It is solvent blend of high-boiling aromatics, ketones and esters. It prevents surface defects, cob-webbing, streaking & chilling and shortens setting time. Efka® FL 3337 is recommended for NC, medium oil alkyds, polyacrylate & polyurethane, 2-pack PUR, 2-pack epoxy coatings and baking/stoving enamels.
