Pigment Preparations for Coatings and Inks

Colanyl® Green GG 131 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a binder-free, aqueous pigment preparation (Pigment Green 7, CI 74260) based on non-ionic and/or anionic wetting & dispersing agents and propylene glycol. It possesses a pourable & pumpable consistency and is suitable for manual & automatic dispensing equipment. It is manufactured without using alkyl phenol ethoxylated (APEO) additives.

• It exhibits excellent light- & weathering fastness and good durability, making it ideal for interior and exterior use.
• Possible applications include water-based decorative paints, emulsion paints, latices, aqueous wood stains and wood varnishes.
• Colanyl® Green GG 131 is also used in water-resistant drawing inks, synthetic resign bound renderings, and acrylic & polyester casting resins.
• It is miscible in all proportions with each other pigment preparation of the Colanyl® 100 range.

Hostatint™ Red A-P2Y 100-ST by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a solvent-based pigment preparation (Pigment Red 179, CI 71130) containing an aldehyde resin. It is a highly transparent, yellowish-red shade with high color strength and chroma. It possesses high pigment loading yet low viscosity.

• In combination with Hostatint™ Yellow A-N4G 100-ST, it produces very transparent & durable orange shades, which have no halogens in the molecular structures.
• Hostatint™ Red A-P2Y 100-ST is used for the coloration of many kinds of solvent-based paint systems.
• It can also be used in combination with Hostatint™ Pink A-EB 100-ST to produce a more bluish hue.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.01-15.0%.

Hostatint™ Yellow A-N4G 100-ST VP 5723 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a solvent-based pigment preparation (Pigment Yellow 150, CI 12764) containing an aldehyde resin. It is designed for the coloration of many kinds of solvent-based paint systems. It is a non-flammable, greenish-yellow colorant with very low viscosity and high pigment concentration.

• It is more transparent and intense than Hostatint™ Yellow A-H3G 100.
• Hostatint™ Yellow A-N4G 100-ST VP 5723 is suitable for transparent yellow shades e.g. on wood or on transparent substrates, or in combination with aluminum or mica pigments for metallic or mineral effect shades.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.01-15.0%.

Colanyl® Red D3GD 532 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is an aqueous, binder-free pigment preparation (Pigment Red 254, CI 56110). It is suitable for manual and automatic dispensing equipment. It shows excellent light- and weathering fastness. It exhibits narrow tolerances of shade and color strength for exact color reproduction.

• It is manufactured without using alkyl phenol ethoxylated (APEO) additives.
• Colanyl® Red D3GD 532 is designed for water-based floor coatings, emulsion paints as well as low VOC & VOC-free decorative- & wood coatings.
• It is also used in aqueous polymer dispersions, latex coloration and water-resistant inks.
• It is miscible in all proportions with each other pigment preparation of the Colanyl® 500 range.

Hostatint™ Blue A-BG 100 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a solvent-containing, phthalocyanine-based pigment preparation (Pigment Blue 15:3, CI 74160) based on a carrier aldehyde resin designed for solvent-based industrial paint systems. It possesses high pigment loading and good rheological properties with excellent light & weather fastness.

• It has no hazardous labelling and no special storage requirements associated with its flammability.
• It is suitable for automatic and manual dispensers.
• Hostatint™ Blue A-BG 100 is used in solvent-based decorative coatings and wood finish coatings.
• Possible application includes oil-based wood stains/varnishes.

Hostatint™ Oxide Green G 532 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a binder-free, aqueous pigment preparation (Pigment Green 17, CI 77288). It is compatible with water-based and solvent-based, modern low-VOC decorative coatings.

• It has high pigment loading and good rheological properties.
• It shows excellent light and weather fastness.
• It is manufactured without using alkyl phenol ethoxylated (APEO) additives.
• It is suitable for automatic and manual dispensers.
• Hostatint™ Oxide Green G 532 is applicable for emulsion & long-oil alkyd resin paints and synthetic resin bound renderings.

Colanyl® Oxide Yellow BV 531 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is an aqueous, binder-free pigment preparation (Pigment Yellow 184, CI 771740). It is suitable for manual and automatic dispensing equipment. It exhibits narrow tolerances of shade and color strength for exact color reproduction.

• It shows excellent light- and weathering fastness.
• It is manufactured without using alkyl phenol ethoxylated (APEO) additives.
• Colanyl® Oxide Yellow BV 531 is recommended for water-based floor coatings, emulsion paints as well as low VOC & VOC-free decorative- & wood coatings.
• It is also used in facade paints & plasters, aqueous polymer dispersions, latex coloration and water-resistant inks.
• It is miscible in all proportions with each other pigment preparation of the Colanyl® 500 range.

It offers good light- & weather fastness and exhibits narrow tolerances of shade & color strength for exact color reproduction. It is suitable for manual and automatic dispensing equipment.

• Colanyl® Red FGRG 130 shows good light- & weathering fastness and moderate durability, making it applicable for interior use only.

HEUCOSIN™ Blue G 5303 N by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a blue colored, ready to use pigment preparation. It is used in solvent-based and water-based coatings. It offers alkali-, acid-, weather fastness and heat resistance.
