Phosphorous-based Monomers for Coatings and Inks

Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate (TSSPP) distributed by DKSH is recommended for paints. It is used in the wetting of pigments & fillers and for the breaking down of agglomerates and the stabilization of the pigment suspension. Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate (TSSPP) has a shelf life of 2 years.

Mixture of 4, 4’-thiobis-(6-tert-butyl-3-methylphenol) and calcium bis (0-ethyl-3, 5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphosphonate). AT- B551 by Keeneyes Industrial is derived from phenol (carbolic acid) and phosphonic acids (organophosphorus compounds). AT- B551 by Keeneyes Industrial is used as a raw material for synthetic resins.

ILCO PHOS 203 by ILCO Chemikalien is a combination of phosphoric acid and 2-ethylhexyl ester. Exhibits high alkali stability, hard water stability, low foam production and strong emulsifying properties in water. Used as a wetting agent with defoaming ability, dispersing agent, corrosion inhibitor and extraction & flotation agent. It is soluble in organic solvents. ILCO PHOS 203 is recommended for use in the surface treatment for the printing and coating industry and metal pigment pastes.

ILCO PHOS 202 by ILCO Chemikalien is a combination of mono (n-butyl)- and bis (2-ethylhexyl)-phosphoric acid ester. Exhibits anti-static-, adhesion promoter- and dispersing properties. Used as a hardener, pickling & anchoring agent and flexibilizer. Shows high alkaline- and hard water stability. It is partially soluble and dispersible in water. It interacts with polar groups of the substrate to the surface. ILCO PHOS 202 is recommended for acid-curing paint systems and printing inks.

Monoacryloxyethyl phosphate by Polysciences is a water-soluble phosphoric acid ester monomer. It contains Bis(2-Acryloxyethyl) Phosphate.

Harcryl® 1228 by Harcros Chemicals is a unique, functional acrylic monomer composed of mono and di-phosphate esters of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate. The balanced ratio of monoalkyl to di-alkyl phosphate ensures easy incorporation into various polymer systems.

Tris (4-aminophenyl) thiophosphate by Excel Industries is tris(4-aminophenyl)thiophosphate. It is a multifunctional monomer specifically developed for PU. Imparts inherent flame retardancy due to presence of P, N and S elements.

ILCO PHOS 216 by ILCO Chemikalien is an ethoxylated nonylphenol phosphate (POE 9). Exhibits wetting-, anti-static- and emulsifying properties. It is chemically stable in acidic & alkaline solutions and is compatible with anionic & non-ionic formulations.

ILCO PHOS 100 by ILCO Chemikalien is a methyl dihydrogen phosphate. Is acidic, water soluble under acidic conditions and less corrosive than mineral acids. Exhibits hard water stability, compatibility with anionic and non-ionic formulations and low foam production.

ILCO PHOS 201 by ILCO Chemikalien is a combination of mono (2-methylpropyl)- and bis (2-methylpropyl)- phosphoric acid ester. Possesses very effective antistatic- and wetting properties on low energy surfaces like polyolefins. Exhibits low foam production & high alkali- and hard water stability. It is partially soluble and dispersible in water. Used in textile industry.
