Tallicin® KO by Pflaumer Brothers acts as an emulsifier, dispersing and wetting agent. It is designed to disperse hydrophobic pigments into a low-viscosity paste for incorporation into either oil or water-based systems, both water-reducible and latex. It is compatible with a wide variety of pigments and solvent-based vehicles.
- When used in a water-based system in conjunction with relatively hydrophilic surfactants, it imparts good color acceptance and development with high oil-absorbing pigments.
- It can be used to emulsify linseed oil in water.
- Recommended dosage is 2% by weight of pigment.

Dispersogen® FA

Dispersogen® FA by Clariant is a low-VOC, surfactant-based wetting and non-ionic dispersing agent. It acts as emulsifier for W/O & O/W emulsions in paints and coatings. It improves the wetting of pigments & fillers and the compatibility with tinting systems. It is free of alkylphenol ethoxylates and preservatives.
