Borchi® Gel PN
by Borchers (Milliken)
Borchi® Gel PN by Borchers (Milliken) is a VOC-, tin-, emulsifier- and APEO-free thixotropic thickener. It develops viscosity in the low shear range to prevent settling and separation and improves the viscosity stability of a coating after tinting with universal colorants.
- It is used in water-based coating systems whose binders contain free hydroxyl and carboxyl groups.
- It does not need biocides.
- When Borchi® Gel PN is applied, the structure rebuilds slowly for improved flow and leveling while retaining good sag resistance.
- It is used in vinyl acetate, acrylic, styrene acrylic, colloid and surfactant stabilized polymers.
- It is also suitable for the interior- and exterior coatings.
- The recommended usage level is 0.5-2.0 % on total paint formulation.
