Fluoropolymers

Fluoropolymers appear as fine powders, dispersions, or liquid suspensions. Their key benefits include outstanding weatherability, superior abrasion resistance, and long-term color stability. This makes them ideal for architectural, industrial, and automotive coatings where extreme environmental exposure demands lasting protection. 

Alternatives such as silicone-based additives or polyurethane coatings provide some durability benefits but may lack the same level of chemical and UV resistance. Sub-types include PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), and FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene).
