Luna-tex OBR distributed by DKSH is an optical brightener designed for road marking paints and 2K or 1K coating systems. It is odorless and hard to dissolve in water.

• Recommended dosage is 0.001-0.02% w/w of paint material.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

Luna-tex BBU distributed by DKSH is an optical brightener used to improve the brightness of products to make them more eye-pleasing. It is especially applicable for use in the surface coatings.

• It performs well under low temperatures, and its excellent chemical stability provides long-lasting performance.

Tallicin® 4550 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a optical clarifier/brightener for water-based systems. It can be used to take the yellowness out of coatings and can be used as a fluorescent whitener.

• When used over dark surfaces such as black or dark blue, it optically brightens the finishes and may have a bluring effect.
• It is designed to brighten clear coatings appplied over natural surfaces such as wood, concrete, sanstone and white or light colored surfaces.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.25-0.5% by weight based on finished formula.

Tinopal® NFW LIQ by BASF is a fluorescent optical brightener. Tinopal® NFW LIQ is designed for water-based coating and overprint varnishes. It is used in clear coats and general industrial coatings.

Tinopal® SFP by BASF is a fluorescent optical brightener based on hexasodium 2,2’-[vinylenebis[(3-sulphonato-4,1-phenylene)imino[6-(diethyl-amino)-1,3,5- triazine-4,2-diyl]imino]]bis(benzene-1,4-disulphonate). It provides anti-stain properties and brilliant bluish whitening effects in photographic color developer baths. Tinopal® SFP is used in water-based coatings and over print varnish applications. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1 g/l.

Tinopal® NFW 10 Liquid by BASF is a fluorescent optical brightener. Offers brilliant bluish whitening effects. It shows good compatibility in a wide range of dispersions. Recommended for water-based white and pastel-tone paints where it intensifies the degree of whiteness.

• Tinopal® NFW 10 Liquid is also suitable for water-based clear coats and overprint varnishes where it is used to mask the yellowish inherent color and to intensify the brilliance of white and colored base coats.
• A dosage of 0.2–1% on binder solid for clear coats & overprint varnishes and 1.0–5% on pigment loading for white-pigmented systems is recommended.
