Chlorinated Rubbers for Coatings and Inks

LIPREN B by Synthomer is an aqueous, high solid dispersion of polymer of 2-chlorobutadiene (1.3). It is a binder for bitumen systems. It contains an anionic emulsifier system and is free from film forming aids, solvents and plasticizers. It is recommended for coating applications. It is available only in Europe.

Non-toxic, non-flammable, tasteless, chemically inert, chlorinated rubber. Used as a fast physically drying binder in textile coatings. Offers very good film forming properties. Provides no resistance to bacterial growth.

Mercaptan modified chloroprene rubber. Used for manufacture of quicksetting cold-hardened adhesives in light and rubber goods industries.

CR-20 by Ningbo Haoxin YURON New Material is carbon tetrachloride (CTC)-free, chlorinated rubber with low-viscosity and high chemical stability. It shows good weather-, saltwater-, chemical-, atmosphere- and good ultraviolet resistance. It is compatible with many resins and plasticizers. It exhibits excellent adhesion to steel and concrete. CR-20 is used in anti-corrosive-, marine-, flame-retardant- and road marking paints. It can help reaching the Chinese VOC emission standard under 420g/L in the coating formulations.
