BRUGGOLITE® FF6 M

BRUGGOLITE® FF6 M by Brüggemann acts as a reducing agent for emulsion polymerization. It is a sodium salt of an organic sulfinic acid derivative. Can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents. It is typically applied as a water-based solution at a concentration of 3-5%. Exhibits quick decrease of residual monomer content and better filtration of emulsion polymers. BRUGGOLITE® FF6 M shows increased reactivity and fast conversion in a wide range of pH values. Recommended at a dosage level of 0.05-0.2% active content on total formulation for post polymerization. It has a shelf life of 24 months when stored dry at 25°C. BRUGGOLITE® FF6 M complies with FDA §175.300 and FDA §175.320 for resinous and polymeric coatings for polyolefin films.

Borchi® OXY-Coat by Borchers (Milliken) is a high concentration, low-VOC, cobalt-free drier and metal-based catalyst. It improves drying activity, color performance, gloss and haze compared to cobalt-based driers in water- and solvent-based systems. It is suitable for high solids, composites and can be applied in multiple coats. It is based on a unique, patented and highly active iron complex.

Reducing Agent TP 1646

Reducing Agent TP 1646 by Brüggemann is a newly designed advanced formaldehyde-free reducing agent, based on an organic sulfinic acid derivative with bivalent cations. Can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents. It is odor free and exhibits high stability with a quick decrease of free monomer content. Offers improved properties for resulting latices. Shows excellent performance for the emulsion polymerization of all commonly used systems. It has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored dry at 25°C. Reducing Agent TP 1646 is applied as a 3-5% solution in water at a pH range of 2-6 with 0.05-0.2% active content on total formulation for post polymerization.

CYCAT® 4045 by allnex is amine blocked para-toluene sulfonic acid catalyst. It is recommended for accelerating the cure response of amino cross-linking resins while providing improved formulation package stability. It is suggested for use with highly alkylated amino crosslinking resins. This product provides excellent stability in high solids and waterborne systems, and in the latter it can be added without causing binder precipitation, which can often occur due to a drop in pH. Dri-Rx® HF by Borchers (Milliken) is a drier accelerator. It enhances drying performance in solvent- and water-borne air-dried paints, coatings & inks. It is an organic compound that works synergistically with cobalt, manganese and other oxidative (transition) metals to speed up the drying process in hard-to-dry and thick film applications.
- It increases oxidative activity while reducing susceptibility to hydrolysis and the loss-of-dry phenomenon that occurs through metal adsorption.
- Dri-Rx® HF is suitable for architectural paints, industrial coatings, stains and printing inks.
- Recommended usage level in high solids paints is 0.2% on vehicle solids, water-based paints 0.2-0.5% on vehicle solids and in slow drying inks 0.1-0.5%.
