Hypro® 1300X43LC VTBNX by Huntsman is methacrylate terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. It is a low-molecular-weight, methacrylate-functional liquid rubber. It provides improved adhesion, toughness, flexibility, low-temperature properties, and impact resistance.

• It is an improved, lower-color version of the Hypro® 1300X43 VTBNX and has key properties of standard version such as curing via free radicals, is multifunctional and has optimum balance of butadiene and acrylonitrile.
• Hypro® 1300X43LC VTBNX is used in coatings.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

Hypro® 1300X21 ATBN by Huntsman is an amine terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile. It used to improve the toughness, flexibility, adhesion and impact resistance of thermoset resin systems including epoxies, vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics and urethanes.

• It is used with other amine-functional compounds to improve product performance when added to thermoset resin systems.
• It provides hydrophobicity and increases low-temperature mechanical properties.
• Hypro® 1300X21 ATBN is used in aerospace-, construction-, composites- and industrial coating applications.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

Chemigum® Latex 550 by Synthomer is an anionic aqueous dispersion of carboxylated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. It offers high tensile strength, tear and elongation properties. It shows resistance to oil-based fluids, abrasion, solvent, animal fat, heat aging, hydrocarbon and oil. It can be cross-linked with melamine-formaldehyde resins or zinc oxide. Chemigum® Latex 550 is used in fabric coatings. It has a shelf life of 6 months.

Chemigum® Latex 6387 by Synthomer is an anionic, pre-crosslinked, aqueous dispersion of a butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer containing a non-discoloring antioxidant. It offers resistance to hydrocarbons, oils, plasticizers, solvents and animal fats. It contains an antioxidant that imparts good heat aging resistance. Chemigum® Latex 6387 is suitable for primers. The shelf life is 12 months.

Tylac® 873 by Mallard Creek Polymers is an APEO-free, carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion. It improves strength and chemical resistance. It exhibits good resistance to oil, grease and solvents. It offers good mechanical stability and tensile strength. It improves low temperature flexibility and reduces high temperature tack on adding of 2-10% dry and dry solids in anionic asphalt emulsions. It can be used in asphalt sealers and as a blend vehicle. Tylac® 873 is recommended for temporary protective and peelable coating applications.

Butadiene acrylonitrile copolymer. Used in coatings. Contains soluble vinyl partitioning agent. Possesses medium-high ACN content.

Amine terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile. It used to improve the toughness, flexibility, adhesion and impact resistance of thermoset resin systems including epoxies, vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics and urethanes. These materials are a family of butadiene homopolymers and butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers with functionality at the chain ends. Functional groups are carboxyl (COOH), amine (NH or NH2), methacrylate or epoxy. The acrylonitrile content varies in these polymers from zero to 26% which directly affects the solubility and glass transition temperature (Tg) of the materials.
