Anti-stick Agents for Coatings and Inks

GP- 690 by Genesee Polymers is a non-hydrolyzable, active nonionic silicone polyol block copolymer consisting of polyoxyethylene blocks (EO) and dimethyl silicone polymer blocks joined through non-hydrolyzable silicon to carbon bonds. Used to improve flow and leveling of polyurethane coatings and impart non-stick characteristics to the cured coatings. GP- 690 can be used as a pigment dispersant. Offers low surface tension. Contains Primary Hydroxyl Groups

3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Micropowder TF 9205 by 3M acts as anti-stick agents. It is a micro powder that lowers coefficient of friction when blended into other polymers or liquids. In addition, it can be effective as a rheological modifier (thickening agent)and significantly increases viscosity when added to liquids and this feature is less temperature-dependent than many other modifiers. It exhibits chemical and thermal stability. It is highly hydrophobic filler and can be used to improve abrasion resistance. Because of its small particle size coupled with good free-flowing properties, it exhibits very good metering behavior and can be easily incorporated into other materials (even in dry blends). It can be added to lubricant oils/greases and waxes, polymers, paints, elastomers and coatings. It is recommended for use in printing inks and antifriction coatings in the non-food sector. Typical additional quantity varies between 1-20% depending on the selected matrix and the desired properties. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Micropowder TF 9205 approved by the German Federal Institute for Consumer Health Protection and Veterinary Medicine (BgVV).

PEW-0655F by Nanjing Tianshi New Material Technologies is a micronized polytetrafluoroethylene modified polyethylene wax suitable for solvent-based and UV curing coatings & inks. It provides anti-sludging, anti-sticking, scratch resistance, anti-dirty, abrasion resistance, better hydrophobicity and sealing properties. It improves smoothness and surface hardness. It exhibits good grain shape, centralized particle size, tidy molecular weight, outstanding dispersibility and smooth hand-feeling. It shows compatibility with pure epoxy, epoxy polyester and TGIC polyester resins. It offers zero matting and no fogging in dark high gloss system. PEW-0655F is recommended for industry paint, UV inks, wood-, plastic-, can- and UV coating. Recommended dosage level is 0.5 to 3%.

EMULTROL CV-1485 PL by Concentrol is a non-ionic carnauba wax emulsion (vegetable wax emulsified in water). Acts as an anti-adherent/anti-stick agent. The particle size of this product is less than 1 micron which allows perfect penetration into the treated surface. EMULTROL CV-1485 PL provides high shine to varnishes, coatings and polishes.

The particle size of this product is less than 1 micron which allows perfect penetration into the treated surface. EMULTROL CV-1485 TC provides high shine to varnishes, coatings and polishes.

SynAdd 1050 is a highly transparent filler by Eckart. Acts as a thickener and non-stick agent. It is a versatile and easy to use grade. It prevents microcracking and exhibits good abrasion- & scratch resistance, optical and abrasion properties. Offers excellent color purity, texture, haptics, matt and frosted glass looks. Recommended for water- and solvent borne systems. SynAdd 1050 has a shelf life of 10 years.

SynAdd 525 by Eckart is a versatile, highly transparent filler. Acts as a thickener and non-stick agent. It is an easy to use grade and provides excellent color purity, texture, haptics, matt and frosted glass looks. It prevents microcracking and exhibits good abrasion- & scratch resistance, optical and abrasion properties. SynAdd 525 is suitable for water- and solvent borne systems. It has a shelf life of 10 years.

B8014-LM35 by Tianjin Bihailantian Waterbased Polymer Materials is a high purity, dispersible, synthetic boehmite nano alumina powder. It acts as a corrosion inhibitor, emulsifier, filler, flame retardant, heat stabilizer, rheology modifier, anti-corrosive, special effect pigment and abrasion resistance-, anti-blocking- & anti-stick agent. It is used as an inorganic additive in the absorbing layer of inkjet media. B8014-LM35 has a recommended shelf life of 5 years.

Zonyl™ MP 1600 is a PTFE powder. Acts as an additive in other materials to impart typical fluoropolymer attributes such as non-stick, lubricity, and low friction in the final product. When added to lubricants, it can act as a thickener or enhance performance under severe conditions. It contains less of acid end groups, so chemical incompatibility is virtually eliminated. Zonyl™ MP 1600 provides improved lubricity, reduced wear, increased gloss, reduced blocking and non-stickiness. Suitable for use in coatings, paints, finishes and inks.

Zonyl® PTFE MPD 1700 is a PTFE dispersion stabilized with a non-ionic surfactant. It is designed to be used as an additive in host systems in order to impart some of the unique properties of PTFE. The low molecular weight may make it unsuitable in some applications that require the physical properties of the high molecular weight grades. It provides inertness to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents, excellent weatherability, non-stick characteristics, stability at high temperatures. Suitable for paints and coatings.
