Zinc Omadine® Powder by Arxada acts as a biocidal and antifouling product. It is a zinc pyrithione-based antimicrobial product. It inhibits the growth of fungi, including yeast and mold.

DOWSIL™ ST 116 Paint Additive by Dow is a 100% active alkyl silicone polyether paint additive. It is suitable for water and solvent-based systems. It is a clear, middle viscosity, reactive silicone fluid.

• Provides long lasting release and antifouling performance.
• It can be used in combination with silicone binders to enhance release properties of cured clear or pigmented coatings.
• It is compatible with film-forming silicone elastomer and acrylic emulsion systems.

BactiBlock® 920 B4 supplied by FARRL is an antimicrobial additive suitable to be used in a broad variety of materials such as paints, powder coatings and construction materials. The product is VOC-free, BPR notified (PT2, PT4), EPA registered (94446-3) and can be used for food contact following Regulation UE 10/2011 (maximum silver migration admissible: 0.05 mg Ag/kg food according to EFSA). The product has a concentration of 30% and is BPR notified (PT2, PT4). The recommended dosage for BactiBlock® GEL 101 R4.47/AQ goes from 1-5% by weight. Kopthione Zn Powder (Zinc Pyrithione Powder) by Kumar Organic Products acts as a biocide (anti-fouling agent, dry film preservative and anti-fungal). It is Bis-[1-hydroxyl-2(1H)-pyridinethianato-O-S]-zinc. It is effective against a wide variety of pathogenic bacteria. It is used in coatings for floorings and for fungal protection of carpet backing. Suitable for anti-fouling paints and exterior paints. It helps in dry-film preservation of architectural and industrial paints and coatings. Kopthione Zn Powder (Zinc Pyrithione Powder) complies with EC: 83/ 467 EC XI.

Kopthione Copper Pyrithione Powder by Kumar Organic Products acts as a biocide (antifungal, antifouling, antibacterial and antimicrobial). It is copper 2-pyridinethio-1-oxide. It belongs to a class of cyclic sulfur organo products containing sulfur atom (S) and often oxygen (O), nitrogen (N) and hydrogen (H). Kopthione Copper Pyrithione Powder is an olive to green powder. Suitable for antifouling paints.

Kopthione Zn 40% FPS (Zinc Pyrithione 40% FPS) by Kumar Organic Products acts as a biocide (anti-fouling agent, dry film preservative and anti-fungal. It is Bis-[1-hydroxyl-2(1H)-pyridinethianato-O-S]-zinc. It is an off-white Aqueous dispersion. It has two pyridine-derived chelating ligands bound to zinc via oxygen and sulfur atoms. It shows slow decomposition by ultraviolet light, providing years of protection even against direct sunlight. It has low solubility in water. Kopthione Zn 40% FPS (Zinc Pyrithione 40% FPS) is effective against a wide variety of pathogenic bacteria. Used in outdoor paints.

Econea™ by Janssen PMP is 2-(p-chlorophenyl)-3-cyano-4-bromo-5-trifluoromethyl pyrrole. Acts as a metal-free antifouling agent. Exhibits an excellent thermal stability, both as a dry powder and when dispersed or dissolved in an organic solvent. In light of its excellent thermal stability, it can be added during one of the early stages of the paint manufacturing process, together with the pigments and fillers.
