- It offers excellent wetting and leveling benefits which improves pigment wetting and wetting of hard to wet surfaces.
- It extends open time of typical latex paint upto 2X and helps hide brush marks.
- It does not impart color or change the optical properties of the coating.
- It partially replaces coalescent solvents for further VOC formulation reductions.
- It orients and concentrates at all liquid interfaces, imparting release properties, improved weatherability, soil resistance and improved open time.
- It is ideal for use in VOC sensitive systems.
- It is used in industrial and architectural paints & coatings, high solids coatings, floor finishes, sealers, automotive finishes & top coats, lacquers and polishes.
- It is based on short-chain fluorochemical technology which meets the goal of the US EPA 2010/2015 PFOA Stewardship Program.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.25% for leveling, gloss development and foam control in water-based systems and 0.25-0.75% in neat and solvent-based systems.
