Acrylate & Methacrylate Oligomers

Acrylate and methacrylate oligomers appear as viscous liquids or resins. Their functionality allows rapid curing through UV, EB, or thermal processes, resulting in tough, crosslinked coatings. Key advantages include high gloss retention, improved adhesion, and resistance to chemicals and solvents. They are well-suited for industrial, wood, automotive, and protective coatings. 

There are advancements in low-VOC, bio-based, and high-solids oligomers. Waterborne and solvent-free formulations are expanding, reducing emissions while maintaining efficiency. Subtypes include urethane acrylates for enhanced flexibility, epoxy acrylates for superior hardness, and polyester acrylates for a balance of properties.
