Stahl presents transparent intumescent basecoat for wood at ACS 2026

Formulators and specifiers working on fire protection for structural timber and interior wood elements in architectural designs can now evaluate Stahl Integra® FRC 429, presented at the American Coatings Show 2026 in Indianapolis (Indiana Convention Center, 5-7 May 2026).

According to Stahl, the product is a transparent intumescent basecoat designed to deliver fire protection while preserving the natural appearance of the wood. The product targets structural timber and interior wood elements where fire protection and the authentic look and feel of the substrate must both be maintained.
