KRAHN Chemie to Distribute Lamberti’s Polymer Beads in Germany and Austria
Last update on Mar 5, 2025
KRAHN Chemie and Lamberti, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, announce their new partnership. Through this distribution agreement, KRAHN will now offer polymer beads in various particle sizes and degrees of hardness in Germany and Austria.
Strategic Product Portfolio Expansion for Coatings Sector
The spherical polymer beads stand out due to their permanent matting effect, which is particularly sought after for applications requiring an elegant, non-reflective finish. Their high mechanical and chemical resistance ensures a long-lasting and durable coating, while the soft-touch effect enhances surfaces with a pleasant feel.
Additionally, the beads offer flexibility. They are available in both transparent and colored variations and, thanks to their exceptional light-scattering properties, can achieve non-reflective surfaces.
These products can be used in solvent-borne, in 100% UV- as well as in waterborne systems and are particularly suited for demanding applications such as flooring coatings, furniture lacquers, coil coatings, paper foil coatings and printing inks, architectural coatings, leather finishes and various plastic applications.
"Our partnership with Lamberti allows us to expand our portfolio with an innovative product that combines technical excellence with versatile application possibilities in the paints and coatings sector," said Dr. Rolf Kuropka, CEO of KRAHN Chemie. "We appreciate the trust placed in us and are excited to better meet our customers' individual needs with Lamberti's high-quality polymer beads."
