Oil, grease, moisture & oxygen protection
Stahl reports that the Repura™ range provides protection against oil and grease, water and water vapor (MVTR), and oxygen transmission (OTR), protecting both product and packaging integrity under demanding conditions. The coatings are described as suitable and customizable for paper and board as well as flexible packaging and are stated to be applicable in direct food-contact applications. According to Stahl, paper-based packaging coated with Repura™ remains recyclable and repulpable, supporting conversion from plastic-based films and foils while maintaining product protection and aesthetic shelf appeal.
Paul Grzebielucha, group director, Packaging Coatings at Stahl, commented, "With Repura™, we enable brands to protect what matters most: product quality, consumer trust and circular design. Our barrier coatings combine high performance with recyclability, helping brands move toward paper‑based packaging without compromise."
Stahl will be present at Interpack 2026 in hall 8a, booth E42, where visitors can explore the new Barrier Coatings portfolio first-hand, discuss application opportunities and connect with technical experts.
