According to Nigel Atkinson, VP - Paints & Coatings at Arxada, the industry is currently managing challenges related to product recalls and a narrowing list of approved formulation ingredients. To address these, the supplier is introducing a new wet-state preservation solution. This single-SKU option is designed for both antibacterial and antifungal control, allowing product developers to simplify formulations while maintaining protection against spoilage.

The exhibit will also feature the Polyphase® 763CR, a broad-spectrum dry-film preservative utilizing TIME (Technology for Innovative Micro-Encapsulation). According to the supplier, this controlled-release technology is designed to minimize the environmental footprint by reducing active material leaching while meeting global classification and labeling requirements. Additionally, formulators can assess the Polyboost™ multifunctional additive, which aims to improve stability and support lower preservative use rates.
