Susterra® Propanediol by Primient Covation is a pure, plant-based, petroleum-free diol. It is a non-toxic, food safe, renewably & sustainably sourced, 100% USDA bio-based building block. It exhibits high thermal stability and abrasion-, stain & scratch resistance. It is used as a co-solvent in water-based architectural- & industrial coatings and when used as polyol in PUD-s it helps improving adhesion, chemical-, corrosion & impact resistance as well as mechanical properties like resistance to deformation (Young’s modulus).
