SETAL® 270 EHV WS-70 by allnex is an air drying long oil alkyd resin based on soyabean oils. Exhibits good color fastness, brushability, body and flow, good durability and good through hardening. Market applications of SETAL® 270 EHV WS-70 include architectural paints (finishes on wood and metal), for interior and exterior use, do-it-yourself paints, semi-gloss finishes, alkyd resin varnishes, wall paints. It is also used in boat & yacht coatings, structural steel paints and marine paints.

SETAL® 270 WS-70 by allnex is soyabean oil-based, air drying long oil alkyd resin. Offers low odor, good durability, good color fastness, brushability and flowability. SETAL® 270 WS-70 is used in architectural paints such as finishes on wood and metal, for interior and exterior use, do-it-yourself paints, semi-gloss finishes and wall paints. It is suitable for use in alkyd resin varnishes, boat and yacht coatings, structural steel paints and marine paints.

Bentone® 38 by Elementis is a highly efficient rheological modifier designed for use in low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It is an organic derivative of a hectorite clay.

• It increases viscosity, controls sagging on vertical surfaces, and penetration on porous substrates.
• It improves flow and leveling, prevents pigment settling during storage and syneresis in thixotropic systems.
• It is suitable for aerosol paints, anti-corrosive paints, automotive finishes and primers, coil coating systems, industrial paints, trichloroethylene dip coatings, and wood stains.
• It is used in interior and exterior house paints.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5% for house and industrial paints.
• Bentone® 38 has a shelf life of 4 years.

THIXATROL® ST by Elementis acts as a rheological additive for use in aliphatic and aromatic solvent-based coatings. It is an organically modified castor oil derivative. It provides increased viscosity, thixotropy, pigment suspension and sag control. It improves the flow and leveling of powder coatings. It is suitable for chlorinated rubber- and decorative coatings, traffic- and anti-fouling paints.

• It offers controlled penetration into porous substrates and imparts excellent package stability and reproducibility.
• It shows no adverse effect on paint durability and no influence on water-resistance of organic systems.
• It is non-yellowing in the final formulation and does not normally react with system components.
• THIXATROL® ST is used in epoxies, polyurethanes, varnishes, air dry industrial-, high build- and hammer finishes.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.8% by weight.
• It has a shelf life of 4 years.

Borchi® OXY-Coat by Borchers (Milliken) is a high concentration, low-VOC, cobalt-free drier and metal-based catalyst. It improves drying activity, color performance, gloss and haze compared to cobalt-based driers in water- and solvent-based systems. It is suitable for high solids, composites and can be applied in multiple coats. It is based on a unique, patented and highly active iron complex.

• It offers improved adhesion in direct to metal applications.
• It extends the coatings season window by providing consistent curing performance in all weather conditions (hot or cold, dry or humid) for short, medium and long oil alkyd systems.
• It provides improved stain- and chemical resistance and lower gardner color numbers and can prevent wrinkles at higher film builds.
• It can be used in coatings for adverse weather conditions.
• It is recommended for all solvent-based coatings containing binders or resins that dry by oxidation including vegetable oils, epoxy esters and polybutadiene.
• Applications include wood flooring, architectural-, protective and marine coating.
• It is APEO-free, REACH and Proposition 65 compliant.
• The recommended dosage level of Borchi® OXY-Coat is 0.5-3%.

SETALUX® 8503 SS-60 by allnex is an epoxy functional acrylic resin with epoxy equivalent weight 569 g/eq. It exhibits low viscosity, fast drying, high gloss, good mechanical properties and excellent outdoor durability. It is suitable for marine and protective, and decorative coating application.

• SETALUX® 8503 SS-60 is used in industrial stoving systems, industrial paints, repair systems and finishes for plastics.
• It has a shelf life of 720 days.

Borchi® OXY-Coat 1101 by Borchers (Milliken) is a VOC- and cobalt-free curing agent and metal-based catalyst ideal for water-based alkyd coatings. It can improve drying activity, color performance, gloss and haze compared to cobalt-based driers. It is based on a unique, patented, highly active iron complex. It is suitable for all coatings with binders that dry by oxidation.

• It provides brighter whites and lower yellow tones.
• It offers improved adhesion in direct-to-metal applications.
• It can be used in coatings for adverse weather conditions.
• Applications include wood-, industrial-, and architectural coatings, as well as printing inks.
• Borchi® OXY-Coat 1101 is APEO-free and complies with Proposition 65, REACH, environmental labels "Blue Angel" (RAL-UZ 12a) and "EU Ecolabel"(Regulation (EC) No. 66/2010, Commission Decision 2014/312/EU).
• Recommended dosage level is 0.25-2%.

Bentone® 34 by Elementis acts as a rheological additive designed for low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It prevents pigment settling during storage and syneresis in thixotropic systems.

• It improves flow and leveling and controls sagging on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates.

• It is used for anti-corrosive paints, automotive finishes, coil coating systems, dip coatings and industrial finishes.
• Also used in interior and exterior house paints including do-it-yourself paints, paint stripper pastes, printing inks, refinishes for household appliances and road marking paints.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.5% for house and industrial paints, 0.5-1% for primer and 0.2-0.3 for aqueous systems.
• Bentone® 34 has a shelf life of 4 years.

Lacper® 4507 by Wanhua Chemical is a self-crosslinking acrylic copolymer emulsion. It shows high transparancy, excellent in-can and dry-film clarity because of its small particle size.

• It exhibits good film hardness, fast drying speed, good sandability and excellent chemical resistance.
• It has good adhesion to a variety of substrates such as wood, plastics such as ABS, PC and PVC.
• Lacper® 4507 contains no APEO, formaldehyde and its derivative.
• This waterborne resin is recommended for interior, exterior, primer sealer, midcoat, basecoat, clearcoat, topcoat, wood and plastic applications.

HALOX® FLASH-X® 152 by ICL is an ultra-low-VOC flash rust inhibitor based on anodic passivating oxyanion. It is effective in preventing general flash rusting and weld seam corrosion. It is highly effective at relatively low loading levels as compared to other high and low VOC flash rust inhibitors.

• It is compatible with a variety of water-based resins without causing film sensitivity or package stability problems which can occur with other flash rust additives.
• It is heavy metal-, APEO-, and HAPS free.
• HALOX® FLASH-X® 152 is designed for industrial and architectural paints.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% to stop flash rust and 1.0-2% to stop galvanic corrosion.
