Polyurethane Dispersion (PUDs)

Crysol® 6110 by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic, anionic polyurethane dispersion for flexible plastic and soft-feel coating.

• It offers good film-forming property, excellent adhesion, excellent solvent resistance and abrasion resistance.
• This waterborne resin is recommended for interior, exterior, clearcoat, topcoat, metal, wood, plastic, wall and glass applications.

UCECOAT® 7850 by allnex is a tin-, and bisphenol A-free, water-borne radiation curable (UV/EB) polyurethane dispersion which is tack-free before cure and after water evaporation. It was developed for wood coatings but can also be used for other applications. It is a low VOC and solvent-free technology grade.

• Because of its non-irritant nature and low viscosity, UCECOAT® 7850 can be applied safely by spray and curtain coating.
• The cured products are characterized by high flexibility and hardness.

DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA by allnex is a low VOC, waterborne, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion, free of solvents and emulsifiers. It yields transparent and crack-free films when dried at ambient temperature. Coatings based on DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA provide very good adhesion to plastic substrates like ABS, PVC, PC, PMMA.

• It also offers high elasticity, toughness, excellent mechanical properties and little yellowing at elevated temperature.
• It is recommended for plastic primers and basecoats.
• It can be used as modifier resin in waterborne OEM primer surfacer to improve stone chip resistance.
• Its neutralization agent is 1.0% triethylamine, as salt.
• If used in ink receptive primer formulations, it provides excellent pigment affinity and high humidity resistance.
• It can be crosslinked with polyaziridine and carbodiimide to improve water- and chemical resistance properties of coatings dried at ambient temperature.
• DAOTAN® TW 6490/35WA has a shelf life of 365 days.

Crysol® 6512 by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic, hydroxyfunctional polyurethane dispersion.

• It offers outstanding wear resistance, excellent adhesion and good durability.
• Crysol® 6512 is used as a binder for the formulation of soft-feel coatings, especially suitable for the plastic shell of mobile phones, laptops, mouse or other electronic products.
• This waterborne resin is recommended for interior, exterior, clearcoat, topcoat, plastic and glass applications.

Crysol® 6136 by Wanhua Chemical is an acrylic modified polyurethane dispersion used to metal pretreatment coatings and plastic coating with excellent chemical resistance.

• It exhibits excellent alcohol & alkali resistance, adhesion to a variety of plastic substrates such as PC, PC+ABS & ABS, PS, weather resistance and mechanical stability.
• It can be combined with amino resin or blocked isocyanate and other crosslinking agent/adhesion promoter to improve adhesion.
• Crysol® 6136 does not contain formaldehyde or ethoxylated alkylphenol (APEO), NMP and NEP.
• This waterborne resin is recommended for interior, exterior, midcoat, basecoat, clearcoat and topcoat applications.

Leasys® 5531 by Wanhua Chemical is an anionic aliphatic polyester-polyurethane dispersion with high gloss and good handle.

• Exhibits excellent yellow and abrasion resistance.
• It can be used in textile coating and topcoat of leather.
• This waterborne resin is recommended for interior, exterior, clearcoat, topcoat, plastic, wood and glass applications.
• Leasys® 5531 contains <2%triethylamine as neutralizing agent.

Picassian® PU-441 distributed by DKSH is an aliphatic polyester urethane dispersion. It yields a hard film with good flexibility. Offers very good chemical, oxidation, UV-, abrasion- and impact resistance.

• It is used in topcoat for polystyrene foam and high gloss wood floors.
• It adheres to a variety of substrates including wood, metal, plastics and concrete.
• Picassian® PU-441 is available in Canada.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

UCECOAT® 7355 by allnex is a low/zero VOC, water-borne, solvent- & organo-tin-free radiation curable (UV/EB) polyurethane dispersion. It is tack-free before cure and after water evaporation. It is developed for high-end wooden furniture topcoats, both transparent and pigmented, but can also be used for other applications and substrates.

• The cured formulations offer very high reactivity in systems, very good hardness, high scratch and stain resistance.
• It provides optimized stability, good compatibility and is easy to formulate.
• UCECOAT® 7355 can be applied by spray and curtain coating.
• It is recommended for clear topcoat for wood furniture, coating on melamine paper foils and PVC floorings.
• It has a shelf life is 1 year.

SETAQUA® PU F125 by allnex is a waterborne, self-crosslinking, low-VOC, NMP- & APEO-free, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion. It is suited to formulate low VOC water white varnishes with an excellent balance of overall properties.

• It is developed to achieve outstanding abrasion resistance for use in single pack varnishes.
• It offers superb resistance to water, dilute alkalis, acids, and alcohol.
• SETAQUA® PU F125 is recommended for both DIY and contractor applied finishes, timber floors, industrial wood furniture finishes and panelling.
• The shelf life of the grade is 365 days.

Lacper® 4211 by Wanhua Chemical is an APEO-, solvent- & tin-free aliphatic polyurethane dispersion.

• It can be used for clear and pigmented wood coating both for interior and exterior.
• Exhibits excellent blocking resistance, flexibility, good building up and good compatibility with acrylic emulsion.
• Lacper® 4211 contains <1% ethylamine as neutralizing agent.
