Iron Oxides

FERROXIDE® 226M distributed by DKSH is a dark blue-shade precipitated red iron oxide pigment. It is reliable, have consistent quality and stable under exposure to sunlight/UV radiation. It offers alkali, chemical and weather resistance. It is recommended for coil, concrete and powder coatings as well as in inks. FERROXIDE® 226M is available in Europe.

FERROXIDE® 206M distributed by DKSH is a micronized precipitated red iron oxide-based inorganic pigment. It has high chroma so that it can replace a portion of organic, chromate and titanate pigments in selected applications.

Chroma-chem® 844-1863 distributed by DKSH is a high performance, non-aqueous yellow iron-oxide pigment. It is dispersed in a proprietary acrylic resin vehicle that provides excellent wetting and dispersing properties superior to other acrylic resins available.

• It contains a carefully selected and unique blend of vehicle, solvent, pigment and additives to yield acceptance in a wide range of non-aqueous coatings applications.
• Designed to minimize the dispersing resin and additive levels.
• It is exceptional for the universal tinting of solvent-based industrial coatings.
• Compatible with acrylic, polyester, cellulosic lacquer, vinyl lacquer, chlorinated rubber, alkyd, epoxy and polyurethane.

• FERROXIDE® 3049 is used alone/in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance to coatings and inks formulations.
• It is recommended for paints, colorants, powder coatings as well as in inks.

Colortrend® 888-1810 distributed by DKSH is a yellow oxide pigment. It is specifically formulated for use in volumetric color dispensing machines for retail store and in-plant volumetric tinting.

• It can be tightly controlled and dispersed easily & completely in most paint bases.
• It is non-reactive with stainless steel and plastic materials.
• Compatible with PVA-, acrylic-, styrene-butadiene- & alkyd modified emulsions and water- & solvent-based paints.
• Recommended for sash & trim paints, oil-type house paints, flat-, semi-gloss- & gloss enamels and wood stains.
• Colortrend® 888-1810 is available in Canada.
