Adhesive ingredients for Radiation Curing (UV/EB) Adhesives

NYAD® M1250 by Imerys is highly-pure and ultra-fine wollastonite mineral grade. It is a naturally occurring and non-hazardous mineral of premium quality.

NYAD® G WOLLASTOCOAT® by Imerys is wollastonite mineral grade. It is a naturally occurring- and non-hazardous mineral of premium quality. NYAD® G WOLLASTOCOAT® is used in structural-, high temperature-, pressure sensitive-, hot-melt-, heat activated- and UV curable adhesives.

Pentaerythritol Tetra(3-mercaptopropionate) by Foru Chemtech acts as a curing agent. It is a vital component in Thiol-ene reaction. When mixed with acrylic or other olefinic monomers, it undergoes rapid UV curing to form a strong and durable polymer network.

• It offers rapid curing and excellent adhesion properties.
• Pentaerythritol Tetra(3-mercaptopropionate) is suitable for UV-curable adhesives and industrial sealants.
• It has a shelf life of 1 year.

Photoinitiator TPO by Dalian Richfortune Chemicals is a diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide grade. It acts as a photoinitiator. It exhibits low volatility. Photoinitiator TPO is suitable for UV curable adhesives.

Hydrophilic fumed silica. Acts as a photoinitiators as well as rheology modifier. Provides excellent gloss and very good anti-settling properties in pigmented systems. Offers better anti caking control. Used in UV, solvent-based and water-based systems. Also used in adhesives gel coats. Recommended usage level ranges from 0.5-20.00%.

Polysurf HPL by ADDAPT Chemicals is a solvent- free proprietary mixture of methacrylated mono- and di-phosphate ester. Used as UV-curable additive, polymerizable lipophilic non-ionic surfactant, effective flame retardant and/or effective polymerisable plasticizer. Suitable for polyesters, polyacrylates and polyvinylchlorides. Polysurf HPL is used in adhesives.

SIA 0200.0 by Gelest (Mitsubishi Chemical) is (3-acryloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane inhibited with MEHQ. Used as coupling agent for epoxies and UV cure systems.

Levamelt® 450 by ARLANXEO is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer that contains 45% vinyl acetate which is dusted with separating agents (silica & talc). Levamelt® 450 is used in hot-melt, film, and radiation curing adhesives. The shelf life of the product is 36 months.
