It is produced from post-industrial low alkali glass feedstock and is free from contaminants associated with post-consumer curb side glass. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy confirms that it is fully amorphous and contains no crystalline silica. Its particles are transparent, angular shaped with similar dimensions in the x, y and z axis when they are observed under a microscope. Has low oil absorption and can be easily dispersed in water or solvent-based systems.
