Nuvone® by Valerian Materials is a versatile, bio-based, recyclable and compostable liquid lactone. It can be regenerated back to its original monomer state for reuse. It provides superior hydrostability compared to standard aliphatic polyester ingredients. Its oligomers offer a considerably lower viscosity at comparable molecular weight than other lactone-based polyols. It is safe to handle as it is non-volatile and non-flammable. Nuvone® is used in adhesives and is REACH registered.
