SIL-CO-SIL® 40 by U.S. Silica is a fine ground silica. Acts as a filler and an extender. It is naturally bright white, low in moisture and contains at least 99.5% pure SiO2. In comparison to other natural minerals, SIL-CO-SIL® 40 offers an improved chemical resistance, low resin demand, dispersibility, as well as comparable color and refractive index. The consistent pH and narrow size distributions allow very high loading with minimal effect on viscosity and cure rate versus synthetic silicas.
