Bis (2-ethylhexyl) succinate. Acts as a plasticizer and coalescing agent. It is a high solvating, fast fusing, phthalate-free and ‘green’ plasticizer. Exhibits low viscosity. Used in caulks, sealants, adhesives, plastisols and floor coverings. Phthalate ester. It acts as a plasticizer. Exhibits non-hazardous nature. Possesses good stability to heat and ultraviolet light. Shows a broad range of compatibility and an excellent resistance to hydrolysis. Used in PVC floorcoverings, sealing and adhesive systems based on poly urethane or polysulphide.
