Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid by Synthomer is an exceptionally high purity, low titer and low odor grade. It is derived wholly from tall oil fatty acid source having uniform fatty acid composition and water-white initial color. It contains oleic acid in naturally occurring cis-isomer form and very low saturated acids and unsaponifiables. Exhibits excellent color stability, oxidation resistance and color stability due to low percentage of polyunsaturated acids. Applications of Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid include hot-melt & solvent-borne adhesives and sealants. Listed on TSCA, DSL, AICS/ NICNAS, MITI, ECL, PICCS and IECSC inventories. Pamolyn™ 380 Conjugated Linoleic Acid by Synthomer is pale in color and has low odor & exceptionally low titer point. It is produced synthetically, process that isomerizes 9, 12-linoleic acid to 9, 11-conjugated form, and controls production of the latter to a uniform ratio of cis-trans to trans-trans isomers. Exhibits excellent heat color stability. Applications of Pamolyn™ 380 Conjugated Linoleic Acid include hot-melt adhesives and solvent-borne adhesives. Pamolyn™ 300 Fatty Acid is used in hot melt and solvent-borne adhesives. Pamolyn™ 240 Fatty Acid is a pale, oily liquid by Synthomer. Exhibits high resistance to discoloration on exposure to heat and light. Contains low rosin acid content and low unsaponifiables. Because of near absence of saturated fatty acids, it has an exceptionally low titer. Pamolyn™ 240 Fatty Acid is suitable for caulks, sealants and solvent-borne adhesives.
