CYLINK® NH8 by Syensqo is a proprietary functional monomer. It is a clear, reddish-brown, odorless liquid. It provides outstanding wet adhesion and wet scrub resistance at levels as low as 0.5% (phm). It does not homopolymerize easily during emulsion polymerization. 2% concentrates of CYLINK® NH8 can be prepared and diluted with virgin latexes to achieve the desired degree of wet adhesion performance. It is suitable for all-acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl acrylic latexes for adhesives. CYLINK® NBMA by Syensqo is a crosslinking bi-functional monomer comprised of a polymerizable vinyl group and a reactive n-butoxymethyl acrylamide moiety. Improves water and solvent resistance in adhesives. CYLINK® NBMA acts as a crosslinking agent. It also improves water and solvent resistance in adhesives. CYLINK® IBMA by Syensqo is a crosslinking bi-functional monomer that combines a readily polymerizable vinyl group and a reactive iso butoxymethyl acrylamide group. CYLINK® IBMA provides mechanical strength and solvent resistance, increased performance for adhesives. CYLINK® C4 by Syensqo is a wet adhesion monomer. It offers compatibility with a wide range of co-monomers. CYLINK® C4 imparts very good stability against homo-polymerization. CYLINK® DOM (Dioctyl Maleate) by Syensqo is a reactive crosslinking and plasticizing monomer. It may be copolymerized with other monomers such as styrene, vinyl acetate, EVA, PVC, and acrylates providing elasticity and flexibility to the films. These internally plasticized copolymer films are not subject to embrittlement due to evaporation and are highly resistant to humidity and ultraviolet light. CYLINK® DOM (Dioctyl Maleate) is used as a co-monomer in emulsion polymerization for adhesives. It complies with all provisions of the Toxic Substances Control Act, 15 U.S.C. CYLINK® NMA by Syensqo is a cross-linking monomer with a polymerizable vinyl group and hydroxymethyl functionality. It provides mechanical strength and solvent resistance. CYLINK® NMA is used in latex adhesives. CYLINK® TAC by Syensqo is a crosslinking trifunctional monomer. It can form homopolymers and copolymers. It improves heat and solvent resistance, electrical properties and hardness. CYLINK® MBA Monomer by Syensqo is N, N'-Methylene bisacrylamide bi-functional internal cross-linking monomer. It is also capable of free radical polymerization. It forms extensive polymer networks. It co-polymerizes with acrylics, styrene-acrylics, vinyl-acrylics, vinyl acetate, EVA, etc. via emulsion, solution, suspension or bulk polymerization techniques. It offers higher tensile strength, impact modification and super-absorbency. It reacts with alkyd resins and polyesters to form hard resins. CYLINK® MBA Monomer is used in adhesives and laminates (used in making polymers for laminating fiberglass, paper metals and plastics). It is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
